The radical leftist attacks on Teslas and Tesla dealerships are still going on, but word is quickly spreading that the perpetrators will be arrested, prosecuted and jailed, so some of the movement’s momentum already seems to be faltering. And some Democrat Party leaders who had grown used to being able to incite violence through incendiary rhetoric are learning the hard way that grown-ups are now expected to watch their mouths and think before they talk.

After Attorney General Pam Bondi warned Democrat Rep. and verbal bomb-thrower Jasmine Crockett that "She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully” when encouraging attacks on Elon Musk and Tesla, Crockett rushed to MSNBC to deny that she meant she wanted people to commit violence.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz also backtracked, claiming he was “being a smart-ass, I was making a joke,” and “These people have no sense of humor” when he cheered for Tesla’s stock to crater, even though his own state’s pension fund owns 1.8 million shares. We don’t think “smart” is the word we’d use in Walz’s self-descriptive phrase. Try substituting “dumb.”

And Democrat Rep. Jamaal “Pull the fire alarm” Bowman resorted to the tired leftist playbook of going on MSNBC and calling a political opponent “incompetent,” a “thief” and a “Nazi.” Only in this case, it was Elon Musk, who has plenty of money for lawyers and who doesn’t care for being slandered on national TV by punk politicians. Elon tweeted, “Lawsuit incoming.”

Note that Bowman’s slander was so obvious, even the MSNBC host rushed to save him by getting him to add that it was his “opinion.” Or maybe they just didn’t want MSNBC to get sued, too. If they lose any more money, they’ll have to auction off Rachel Maddow’s desk on eBay.

The same poll also found that 20% of Republicans and Independents and 40% of Democrats approve of the vandalism, so we’re sincerely hoping this is just a garbage poll.
