When I say that the Democrats are lying about the Georgia law, I don’t use that word the way the media use it against Republicans; i.e., calling an opinion I disagree with a “lie.” No, I meant they are telling verifiable, previously debunked, outright lies. In Biden’s case, he’s continuing to repeat them even after they’ve been publicly debunked and the Washington Post gave him “Four Pinocchios” for one. While I continue to demand that Twitter and Facebook ban Biden for spreading dangerous, divisive misinformation, I’ll turn you over to Derek Hunter at Townhall, who examines the question, “Are these Democrats liars or are they actually stupid enough to believe the things they’re saying that are demonstrably false?
Personally, when I hear many comments from the left, I often ask myself if they’re really stupid enough to believe that, or if they just think the rest of us are stupid enough to believe it.
PS – After writing the above, I discovered that the hilariously brutal Kurt Schlichter has written a column on the exact same question, are they stupid or lying (it must be on a lot of people’s minds these days.) He also explains why these lies can be dangerous, even when they’re so stupid that not even the leftists telling them could possibly believe them.
