Buyer Beware on this bill in Congress

I often warn you about bills that are given names that nobody can oppose without being demonized, even though the bills actually do the opposite of what their name implies. For instance, the “For the People” act basically legalizes vote fraud and negates the people’s voice in their own government. Another good example is the latest version of the “Violence Against Women Act” being pushed by President Biden.

The original Violence Against Women Act in 1994 was designed to help prevent rape and sexual abuse and help victims. The new version, in what has become a theme of the Biden Administration, prioritizes trans rights over women’s safety. It would allow men who claim to identify as women to move into shelters for abused women, or to demand transfers from a male to a female prison. Some states are already allowing the latter, and as the linked article reports, in Washington State, a violent sexual predator who claimed to identify as female was allowed to transfer to a women’s prison, where he raped a female prisoner.

Today’s Democratic Party seems to be built around mislabeling and bamboozlement, from claiming that socialists are moderates and rioters are “peaceful protesters” to insisting that men who “identify” as women really are women to calling anyone who questions their insane policies “racist” to giving warm, patriotic names to bills that would have disastrous consequences. If the Democratic Party were held to the same Truth In Advertising laws that pharmaceutical companies are, the FDA would shut down the entire operation.

    Women and men have different capabilities in many areas. Especially in physical sports the sexes have different capabilities. Where women are strong enough and want to I think they should be allowed is sports where males dominate in capability. The same for where women's capabilities are generally superior I would be ok with the lines crossing. But the crossing is limited to activities are where the generally less capable sex is allowed to participate with the other sex. It is not proper for the stronger/capable to cross over into an activity that is generally populated with people less capable than the other sex. We compete with like capabilities. But not to make it a complete overpowering activity.

    i guess the American people don't have the guts to stand up to tyrannical socialist democrats. i never thought i'd see this day. and i'm ashamed that i am seeing it.

    At one time, Congress successfully lobbied for the FDA to require ingredients and nutritional information for food items to be printed on the packaging. I wish we could mandate congress to do the same with legislation. We need to be able to readily identify pork and tripe in legislation. We need to know that information. No more wrongfully calling bills by a name that doesn’t resemble the contents.

    My husband suggested men be castrated before they could go to a women's prison. Is that enough? If so, I'm for that, too.

    bill names? always a lie. "Afforable" Care Act..is a prime example. but, most of DC doesn't read a bill, except to see if their pork chops are in there.

    If registering. Guns will prevent crime maybe we should register male sex organ to prevent rape. One makes as much sense as the other.

    until we vote out of office these radical politicians who appear to be working for the destruction of America in favor of socialist/commumnist agendas we will never get our freedoms back. Time to stand up and realize we are losing our nation if this continues, communism works to destroy society, divide and conquer. Americans need to WAKE UP!!!!

    Vote against the new bill regarding prioritizing trans rights over women’s safety.
