Over the weekend, Elon Musk polled Twitter users on whether he should step down as CEO, and the “yes” vote won by 57.5% to 42.5%.

Assuming this wasn't just bot chicanery (would liberals ever rig a vote?), I assume what this tells us is that all the leftists who hate free speech did NOT keep their hysterical promises to quit Twitter. Personally, I think that Musk becoming Twitter’s CEO is the first good thing to happen to that platform in years. Any Twitter users who want him to leave probably have the same motivations as termites who want the Orkin Man to leave.
Musk said he would abide by the results of the poll, but he didn’t give any timeframe for quitting, and he denied rumors that he only posted it because he already had a successor lined up. So let’s hope that this is one of those “Sure, I’ll retire…someday” things, and that before he turns Twitter over to anyone else, he'll make sure all the termites are gone, the dirty laundry aired and the house given a thorough cleaning, airing out and disinfecting.
