President Biden claims that there’s something called “Bidenomics” that has saved the US economy and is improving all our lives. I’m not the only one who’s having a hard time figuring out what “Bidenomics” is. It seems to be a toxic mixture of open borders, high taxes, crippling government regulations, runaway inflation, high gas prices caused by kneecapping the domestic energy industry and ungodly amounts of deficit spending on boondoggle make-work projects for the Democratic Party’s “green” cronies. Biden claims that “Bidenomics” “turned things around,” and he’s right about that: he inherited a strong, energy-independent economy with low inflation that was roaring back after being artificially shut down due to COVID, and he’s spent the past three years strangling it like a chicken.

Well, as that great Republican Abe Lincoln noted, you can’t fool all of the people all of the time, and Americans who are going deeper into debt every time they visit the grocery store aren’t buying the claim that their lives are much better now thanks to “Bidenomics.” A new Issues & Insights/TIPP poll found that by a 51% to 42% margin, Americans disagree with Biden’s claim that “Bidenomics” is “turning things around” and “delivering for the American people.” 33% “strongly” disagree, while only 16% “strongly” agree.

My question: who could possibly agree with that? Maybe they misunderstood the question and thought that “delivering for the American people” meant that “Bidenomics” was forcing the American people to take second and third jobs delivering pizzas.
