The Pentagon seemed to confirm Bob Woodward’s claim that Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley attempted to usurp President Trump’s powers by calling his Chinese counterpart and assuring him he would give China advance warning if Trump launched an attack.

I’m not going to quote their statement verbatim (you can read it at the link), since it went on at length in the kind of gaseous government-speak that’s meant to make outrageous acts sound not merely defensible and reasonable but downright laudable. Indeed, a lot of liberal news outlets (those that aren’t ignoring this story entirely) are trying to present it that way and hail Milley as a heroic figure for protecting America from the “unhinged” duly-elected Commander-in-Chief that they hated. Biden spokeswoman Jen Psaki called Milley a “patriot.” So chalk up “insurrection” and “undermining our democracy” as yet another area in which the Democrats’ sacred principles are highly situational.

Even Biden himself reportedly said he has “great confidence” in Milley.

Really? So Joe Biden wants to keep a guy around him who has a history of trying to overthrow Presidents whom he thinks are showing mental decline? REALLY?!

If Milley thought it was his duty to step in and take control away from a cognitively-challenged President who was about to commit a dangerous foreign policy blunder, then why didn’t he do that two months ago?

Finally, the line of the day is about this story, and it’s courtesy of former Rep. Trey Gowdy, who said you know who would have appreciated an advance call to warn him of an attack? The Afghan aid worker who was blown up by a drone while loading water cans into his car.

Mike again thank you for honest news we can depend on. My thoughts about the Gen. Mark Milley actions are complete treason and should be punished to the fullest. He reported to his Chinese Counterpart that he would commit treason and let them know if America and President Trump would attack them. Never should this conversation taken place. President Trump could have warned them if they did not comply to any agreements and follow through as they should. Only the President can, and what did this General do with Biden made such a drastic action in Afghanistan, he went along with it and many lives were lost and still are hostages there without him doing a thing to bring them home. What they say is 200 it now shows to be thousands. This man should be removed and stripped of his retirement and any life or health insurance, we Americans owe him nothing he is a traitor and shows it by backing a President that has Dementia.

Why is it that that, the Dems, have just about ruined Gen Flynn's life for many years accusing him of violating the LOGAN ACT when what he did was not illegal and customarily done during administration changes. The Dems used the FBI as a political weapon along with the DOJ to entrap him and trash his life.
Yet,what General Milley did to me is a clear case of violation of the LOGAN ACT yet he gets a free pass and is seemingly celebrated as a hero.He also committed an act of Treason against the United States and place the whole nation in pearl should the Chinese miss interpreted what he was saying.

The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. The intent behind the Act is to prevent unauthorized negotiations from undermining the government's position.[2] The Act was passed following Senator George Logan's unauthorized negotiations with France in 1798, and was signed into law by President John Adams on January 30, 1799. The Act was amended in 1994, changing the penalty for violation from "fined $5,000" to "fined under this title"; this appears to be the only amendment to the Act.[2] Violation of the Logan Act is a felony.

    Treason
Treason is the crime of attacking a state of authority to which one owes allegiance

It's TOTALLY beyond me how not only the MSM but the general (read LIBERAL) populace can not put 2+2 and get 4. Your comments are obvious to us conservatives with at least half a brain but absolutely foreign to everyone else.

On a side note, I'm a born again believer and spent 21 years in the USAF, retiring as a LtCol in 2004. Most of my time was spent in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI...which I found was a VERY hard sell in the government). I've spoken at CPI conferences on 4 continents and all across America. I have MANY ideas on how we could make the US government (and state governments for that matter) more efficient and effective. For instance, I believe we could cut at least 15% out of the Federal budget without touching any entitlements and I have ideas on how to accomplish it. It just isn't rocket science. I also have a way that we could impose term limits on Congress without a Constitutional convention. Each state has rules that candidates must follow to get on the ballot. If each state had a rule that says, "No candidate may get on the ballot to run for office if, by the end of their anticipated elected term, they will have been in office more than 12 years." Each state could pass such a requirement and in effect impose term limits. I realize that's a rather simplistic idea but on the other hand, sometimes the simple ideas are the ones that work.

I'd like to ask that if you see any value in what I've suggested, either you and I begin a dialogue or that you get me an invitation to discuss these ideas with Mr. Trump. I truly think I can help make a HUGE [or "YUGE", if you're Mr. Trump :) ] positive, lasting change in our country and help get us back on the right track.

    Respectfully,
    FarmerTom

It seems to be the consensus that Joe Biden is not the person in charge or the person in charge of the White House. If that is the case, are not ALL of the appointed inner circle and Obama holdovers guilty of trying to take over the government? I am thinking their decisions and the information they pass on to Biden are based on what they deem appropriate for their own socialist outcome. Biden's cognitive skills are insufficient to figure this out. In many ways, Biden is more of a loose cannon than Trump was ever accused of being. Does that mean Patriot Milley thinks he has a duty not to resign so he can stay in office to control the current President from using the codes? I wonder if he has discussed this with Nancy and Chuck? they are all complicit in trying to take control of our government for their own benefit.
