While Democrats continue to express newfound outrage over violent riots and to vilify President Trump and all his supporters over the actions of a few idiots, Trump issued a statement calling for reconciliation and condemning what he called the “heinous” attack on the Capitol and saying, "Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem."

He also signaled that with Congress confirming Biden’s electoral victory, his legal challenges over alleged voting irregularities are over and that a new Administration will take office on January 20th. He said, "Emotions are high now, but tempers must be cooled and calm restored. We must get on with the business of America. My campaign rigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the election results. My only goal was to ensure the integrity of the vote. My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition…This moment now calls for healing and reconciliation."

In accordance with that statement, we will now start referring to Joe Biden as the “President-elect,” a title incorrectly conferred on him by the media right after the election. Our decision not to fall in line was not made out of partisanship or resentment but a virtually obsolete respect for factual accuracy. As I stated two months ago, Trump had the right to legally challenge the vote, just as Gore did in 2000, and until the challenges were dropped or settled and the vote certified, nobody was “President-elect.” While the suspicions over the vote have unfortunately not been settled, and I fear will continue to fester for years to come, the legal challenge has now ended.

Some conservative sites are referring to Biden as “President Asterisk” or “His Fraudulency.” I heard that a compromise for those who think he’ll be living in the White House but not really be President would be the title “Resident Biden.” That’s all well and good as political satire, but I don’t want to be like the leftists who spent the past four years letting their anger over Trump being President lead them to show disrespect to the office and root for America to fail under his watch.

So out of respect for factual accuracy and the legal and Constitutional system, and for the sake of American unity, we will refer to Joe Biden as “President-elect,” and after his inauguration, as “President Biden.” But we will do everything within reason to ensure that we no longer have to type those words after 2024.

"Saying so doesn't make it so".
Not comparing God to President Trump but you would never worship the devil just because someone said you had to. I do pray that God will continue to deliver us from evil via President Trump.
I thank you for your efforts to inform but please do not attempt to whitewash this situation.

Can no one see the evil hand of the world's most evil man, Geo Soros (I read that description) in the "riot" on Wednesday? The thugs that invaded the people's house may have a link to Soros!! Does anyone have courage to investigate this possible connection? DJT accomplished many positive things during his time in the White House in spite of the Goddess of Evil (Pelosi) and her buddy good ole Chuck. Unfortunately, the socialists are now in residence. Bummer.

this is now the Unholy Socialists of America. I am disappointed. I will only acknowledge Biden as the senile pedophile that he is. You are disrespectful to all Americans that believe in the Constitution. Evil is evil and will never be acknowledged by me as anything but the evil it is. Jeremiah 14:27

Respectfully, Gov Huckabee, NO, I will never call someone “President” who did not RIGHTFULLY EARN that position. As a Christian, we should NEVER condone a crime, lying, or cheating to TAKE something from someone else. By accepting Biden as president, that is accepting his crime! HE IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE MY PRESIDENT!! RESIST! just as the Democrats did for 4 years.

I am sorry, but I will never ever consider Biden the president. The election was fraudulent and it was stolen from our president Donald Trump.

Thank you governor for your God-fearing and calming response to what feels to many like the death of their dearly beloved country. You seem to always accurately read the pulse of ordinary Americans. A stolen election feels to many like there has been a death, but to make matters worse, no funeral arrangements are allowed. We are to be quiet. To discuss the death is to invite censorship and reproach.

MLK famously said that "A riot is the language of the unheard." That may be true, but violence only scrambles our words and obliterates our message. So conservatives need to learn a second language. At this point, I don't know what that language is. Logic, reason, facts, and history seem less effective now that history is erased, and truth is censored. The only language I have confidence in now is the one I speak while on my knees. And my comfort (as God told Abraham), is that if there are a few righteous left in the city, that He would not bring destruction on the righteous. It's good to think about how that turned out... the best thing I can do for my country is to fear God and keep his commandments.

    Thank you for your voice!

I’m sorry, but I’m upset that people who are supposed to be representing us, are not. They didn’t represent 75 million voters on January 6. Binder is illegitimate as far as I’m concerned, and he will NEVER be my president. And I pray, that one day, all our representatives pay the price for what they have done, which is sell out the people they represent

"Out of respect for factual accuracy and legal and Constitutional accuracy", I will refer to the change of power, should it really happen, a Charade. Is Pence just to be a rubber stamp? And Congress?
Aren't they the last line of protection against illegal votes? Thankfully, no.
Somewhere in the Bible it says, if we want justice, we need to ask God for it. And I am.
The ruling class staged a violent protest, and K. Loeffler can pretend a reason to renege on her promise to support Trump in objecting to the electoral votes. I'm sure some Trump supporters mixed in, but pictures I saw didn't look like Trump supporters one bit. (Watch the Greg Kelly Report to see some of them.)
But now the ruling class can feign righteous indignation against Trump, who told the crowd to go peacefully to the Capitol and let their voices be heard.
All of the evidence of voter theft and illegal vote manipulation will see the light of day, and no one will be able to deny it.
As my husband said, the last four years has been a bloodless revolution between We The People and the McConnell/Shumer/Deep State ruling class. The revolution is just getting warmed up.
The God I pray to raised Christ Jesus bodily from the dead. I'm grateful the Triune God is into resurrections.

After the last 5 years, why are we supposed to show respect after the biggest fraudulent election this country has ever seen. For 5 years PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP was drug through every conceivable political trap that they could conjure up and us supporters along with him. I have always walked down a two way street, why can’t we deliver the same partisan justice to them that they delivered to us?? And the boiling point is here. All the dumbocrats will do for years now with Bejing joe and heels up harris as there front people is to make our lives a living hell. Are we supposed to be silent and be led to the slaughter like sheep. And I don’t hear about the 2020 election, now that the dumbocrats know how to rig an election they will always win now. Frustration is growing amongst the patriotic Americans over the recent fraudulent election and growing mistrust of both parties. What are we supposed to do, are reactions are limited right now because BIG BROTHER GOVERMENT will land like on us like Thor’s hammer.

Trump who encited and encouraged the riots in DC. He has grown irrational and dillusional. He needs to be removed now under the 25th amendment!

I blame 3 people/groups for the situation at the Capitol

    1) The Capitol police who didn’t prepare--although in all honesty Trump supporters have never been a security problem so they were probably not really expecting anything bad. And I’ve seen people interviewed who really honestly believed it was OK to go in the Capitol building. You could see those folks even staying within the walkway ropes in Statuary Hall. They might have thought they could go to talk to their representatives and Senators or watch the proceedings from the gallery. No statues were toppled. No fires lit on the mile and a half walk from the White House to the Capitol. It was really only a few people (relatively) who caused the problems. And some others may have gotten caught up in it—wanting to take selfies in Pelosi’s office, etc. Tens of thousands of Trump supporters were in D.C. Only 2 deaths—the San Diegan who was killed by a (probably confused and upset) Capitol policeman and the Capitol policeman who was hit on the head with a fire extinguisher---obviously that one was a Trump supporter and/or agitator. Those people who went into the Capitol had seen Dems pounding on doors of the Senate on TV during the Kavanaugh hearings and invading the Capitol area and no one complained about that. Also, Antifa and BLM invaded and even burned federal buildings and invaded police stations in many cities over the summer and the Dems bailed them out of jail and cheered them on.

    2) VP Pence, could have avoided the situation if he had done what Trump wanted him to do and sent the duplicate Elector ballots back to the states. Everyone is saying that the Congress only “counts” the votes and makes no decisions. But that makes no sense since Congress did make a decision between the 2 sets of Electors from those 6 states that requested to have them sent back to reconsider. If Pence had sent those Elector ballots back to those states, then the intent of the constitution (that states must decide) would have been fulfilled. The states would have had to decide which ballots to resend. The Congress would not have had to decide which set of ballots to “count.” Trump has good instincts and he was correct that was what should have happened. If the Dems had sued him, the Supreme Court would have been forced to weigh in. Every time this has happened in an American election, there was a different solution worked out. Sending the ballots back to the states would have been the appropriate solution this time to keep the intent of the Constitution. And by the way I am a constitutional law attorney.

    3) The weird groups that put those agitators into the crowd. They may have been people from Antifa or BLM or from the weird Trump supporters like QAnon or even White Supremacists. But that’s certainly not Trump’s fault. He never saw his people riot before either. I think it’s suspicious that we aren’t being told who the people were who were arrested so far. That likely means that they weren’t really Trump supporters or were merely a fringe of that groups. Antifa and BLM protesters are Democrats, but no one blamed the Democrats for their actions.

I am distressed at so many Republican politicians who are deserting Trump. That just shows how shallow they are. Trump’s supporters are not shallow. I hope those politicians who are now deserting him will shape up. I think their original responses are probably a result of the trauma they endured yesterday when no one knew what was going on and there were terrified.

I don’t advocate violence but will never acknowledge Joe Biden as my President. My concern going forward is nothing has been done to prevent this from happening again going forward and history has a way of repeating itself .

Also, Antifa and BLM invaded and even burned federal buildings and invaded police stations in many cities over the summer and the Dems bailed them out of jail and cheered them on. I have a friend who saw a busload of agitators arrive in D.C. dressed in Trump gear.

    2) VP Pence, could have avoided the situation if he had done what Trump wanted him to do and sent the duplicate Elector ballots back to the states to choose one. Everyone is saying that the Congress only “counts” the votes and makes no decisions. But that makes no sense since Congress did make a decision between the 2 sets of Electors from those 6 states that requested to have them sent back to reconsider. But that’s certainly not Trump’s fault. He never saw his people riot before either so outside (or even inside) agitators would need to be responsible. I think it’s suspicious that we aren’t being told who the people were who were arrested so far. That likely means that they weren’t really Trump supporters or they were merely a fringe group of supporters. Antifa and BLM protesters are Democrats, but no one blamed the Democrats for their actions when they really did burn and loot federal buildings and local police stations. The Dems cheered them on, as they did when the Kavanaugh protesters stormed the Senate.

I am distressed at those Republican politicians who are deserting Trump. That just shows how shallow they are. Trump’s supporters are not shallow. We continue to appreciate Trump and know the Swamp is still after him. I hope those politicians who are now deserting him will shape up. I think their original responses are probably a result of the trauma they endured yesterday when no one knew what was going on and there were terrified.

I don't know where we go from here....I do know that SOMEHOW these democrats need to be held accountable for all the hate and violence THEY have incited up on all Americans not to mention the disrespect they showed OUR President. And they don't stop. The have all they want (they STOLE from us) and are still not satisfied. They really think we are stupid...we can't see...we don't understand...we can't figure things out....what Pelosie, Obama, biden...ALL of them have done is inexcusable. I know these sentiments are same from all over our great country. May God watch over all of us, we are in for some hard times. But at the end..PRESIDENT Trump will be THE most loved President of all time.

    Governor,
I'm saddened, I'm outraged, I'm angry; if I wasn't saved I'm afraid my flesh would get the best of me...but one thing I'm certain of: God's judgment day will NOT be rigged. If these roles were reversed and it was the pubs stealing the election from the dems, the FBI would already have people in chains and in prison...now I know of a surety, that the FBI, all law enforcement, 90% of congress, big tech and almost every state is owned by george sorros and the evil in this country is deeper than anyone could have imagined. Maybe now, God can get the attention of the Church so we'll start obeying 1 Tim 2:1-3, and start supplicating, praying, interceding and giving of thanks for all that are in authority. I believe we are in this mess because Christians have NOT obeyed 1 Timothy; When socialism is on the rise, maybe God can turn this into a wonderful harvest of souls for His Kingdom.
Thanks for your emails; I've deleted my FB, Twitter, Instagram accounts. I wish someone out there had the savvy to start a social network called: Faithbook...I'd be the first to join.

You can call him president, your highness, or king but in my opinion he is a liar and traitor. I may call him president but only in subjection to God because we are told to in the Bible. I think God allowed him and people like Warnock to be elected only because He is punishing America. I will continue to pray for President Trump and his return to the presidency in 2024 because he was the only president in my lifetime who said what he’d do and did what he said. May God have mercy on America land that I love.

Well said, however I’m somewhat confused and frustrated. Didn’t President Trump have the power to declare treason and assert Marshall law, pursue legal action for these crooked lying people who cheated and stole the election? How can Biden and Harris live with their conscience and be proud in attaining the presidency by stealing and lying? Well this is one fed up American not all proud to call them president and vice but like you said give respect.

    Gov. Huckabee,

Most of the election fraud lawsuits were denied because the courts stated the plaintiffs lacked standing to file the lawsuits. In other words, the plaintiffs had not been aggrieved. For example, the state of Texas was not harmed by election fraud in another state(MI, PA, GA, WI, NV, AZ). So why couldn't Trump's attorneys armed with all their evidence file the lawsuits again, beginning in state courts using actual aggrieved parties(voters from within each of the contested states) as the plaintiffs? It seems to me it would be awfully difficult for judges to rule that these plaintiffs had no standing as their legal votes were nullified by fraudulent votes.

Only in a politically criminal state can ballot stuffing, invalidation of signature verification, software manipulation of votes, and voter ID, and vote harvesting be encouraged, then be rewarded by the power to protect corruption. Only in a politically criminal state is censorship of fact and opinion by media conglomerates permitted by corrupt politicians. Yes, the electorate is angry, upset, and frustrated. Their voices are being ignored--worse-- their voices are being suppressed. Violence may be inevitable!
