Another fabricated January 6 claim unravels:

Another day, another fabricated Democrat claim about the “Great Insurrection” unravels in public like a cheap suit.

Rep. Liz Cheney claimed that once the violence in the Capitol started, President Trump waited 187 minutes, or over three hours, before saying anything about it. She railed that he “refused to act when action by our president was required, indeed essential, and compelled by his oath to our Constitution.” She called this long delay a “supreme dereliction of duty.”

There’s also another, more accurate, term for it: “fictitious.”

The Federalist compared the timeline of the Capitol violence to the timestamps on Trump’s tweets. The first building was breached around 2:13 to 2:15 p.m. At 2:38 p.m., Trump tweeted, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

About 30 minutes later, he tweeted, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order — respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

At 4:17, he posted a video urging the rioters to go home, which Twitter promptly suppressed because “TRUUUUUUMP!!!”

Cheney’s office did not respond to the Federalist's inquiries about where she got that 187-minute figure. I’m guessing it came from Adam Schiff, who got it off his Rotten Apple watch.

    Mike, I attended the amazing rally at the Ellipse. Every American would have been product to be part of the million that attended.
    D.C., even boarded up was as safe a place anyone could be. The streets were lined bumper to bumper with Metro Police, filled with 4 officers per car. Bike staging centers were setup for quick deployment. Attendees where cheering for the cops, showing their appreciation for being there. This doesn't even mention the thousands of other security force in attendance.
    The morning of Jan. 6 was bitterly cold. I was at the Ellipse beginning at about 7am. The one thing I noticed immediately we the very few porta-potties (maybe 40 for one million) that had been setup. Then taking a walk from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial, the permanent restroom there was already overflowing with raw sewage even though crowds hadn't even arrived. A dirty trick indeed. The restroom at the Washington monument had a constant line the entire time of no less than hundreds. Personally, I was staying close, at the Hilton Garden Inn, so I could walk back to my hotel for relief throughout the day.
    Trump, as usual, was long winded. Yes, people began leaving before he even finished speaking. But there was no hyping of the crowd, no calls for rioting or violence, in fact, just the opposite. My feet were so frozen by then that I began walking back to the hotel before the speech ended but was listening on radios people had in the streets.
    On returning to my hotel, I was shocked to see on tv what was transpiring. It was absolutely impossible that the rioting of 60-200 could have occurred following Trump's speech, it happened while he was speaking.
    Watching local feeds of what was happening, one video even showed three white vans of black clad trouble makers exiting in the parking lot of the capital.
    I'm convinced this was a total setup and am even more convinced after watching the three hours of video released. In that you will see the many hundred Metro and Capital police abandon the steps to the tunnel, under no pressure from anyone, it was a given order. It was at that time that protestors made the breach, with 0 resistance.

    The whole thing, from start to finish, is ridiculous. It was ok for cities to burn and be demolished by radicals all year and the Democrats did nothing. They are the true insurrectionist, in my opinion.

    Thank you for the actual timeline of response from Pres Trump. This is so valuable. Also can you tell me this: Wasn't Pres Trump still speaking when the breach happened? Did he not, indeed, speak until 2:30pm. If so then his response was only 8 minutes later.
