Reactions To Biden's Keystone Pipeline Decision

Multiple union leaders are joining Canadian officials in expressing their anger over President Biden’s executive order killing the Keystone Pipeline project (along with thousands of union jobs) and reneging on an expensive agreement with Canada, just to appease some radical green activists and “undo Trump’s legacy.”

Never having run a business (or done anything other than warm a government seat for 47 years), Biden doesn’t understand that when a new boss comes in, he doesn’t arbitrarily cancel every project his predecessor set in motion, especially not those that represent a major investment and a number of binding outside contracts.

Unfortunately, he’s also surrounded himself with other people whose experience is entirely in politics, which explains the clueless response to the anger by his Transportation Secretary pick, Pete Buttigieg (whose experience includes being mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and nothing involving transportation or oil.) In a stunning "learn to code" moment, Buttigieg brushed off concerns about all the lost union jobs, assuring the newly unemployed pipeline workers that with Biden’s coming climate initiatives, they can just find “different” jobs.

This Administration is only four days old, and I’m already seeing a lot of people who need to find different jobs.

    I am not demeaning the importance of of fast food employment, but I don’t believe I want to see a highly skilled welder asking me if I want fries with my meal.

    I consider the behavior of the Democratic Party since the 2016 election to be nothing short of TREASON as everything they have done has been very bad for our country and its people. I don't know of one thing they have done that falls in the duties of an elected politician.

    I'm seeing an administration that needs to be finding "new jobs" asap. Also many in congress at state & federal levels. Plus governors & election board members. They all seem to forget who they work for.

    What about us?? My husband is a career pipeliner. I can’t work due to medical conditions. The election for president has been stolen. And the world pretends with the thieves. Now the ILLEGAL PRESIDENT IS happily taking away our way to make a living. JUST GO GET ANOTHER GOOD PAYING JOB. WTF?? I am terrified and so rage filled. We are screwed and our so-called republican leaders do nothing but cover their own asses. What about us?

    Mr puppet’s borrowed oblama advisors are all about slamming any Trump policies that are working for the USA (and in this case Canada too) and installing their own “green” policies that will increase costs, cause huge spikes in unemployment and make no difference in the USA’s environment! We have the cleanest air of all the countries and it did not change with Trump’s policies!

    the office is not joe biden's office, it is a film set by castle rock, and
    joe biden is not making decisions. the starff is telling him what to
    say to the public and what to sign. he is heard saying "what am I signing." the starff tells him: "sign it anyways." the executive orders were blank sheets.
