One of the more notorious moments of the 2020 election was Lesley Stahl of “60 Minutes” “correcting” President Trump when he said political opponents spied on his campaign, telling him, “There is no real evidence of that.” We later learned Trump was correct.

As we continue to wait for Ms. Stahl and CBS to give a public mea culpa for that one, they are already trying to quietly back away from their previous dismissal of the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan virology lab.

Maybe they should change the name of the show from “60 Minutes” to “Two Years” because that’s how long it takes them to get a major story right.
