BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2 KJV
Silicon Valley Tyrants Prove That They Are
By Mike Huckabee
Paula Bolyard at PJ Media wrote an informative and chilling article, detailing how the Facebook “fact-checkers” silence anything that questions their own biases, how it’s almost impossible to challenge them, and how they demand that posters retract and apologize for posting things, even when they believe they have proven them to be factually correct.
And – brace yourself for the shock – Facebook has already banned the posting of Bolyard’s article. In the name of "factual accuracy," I'm sure.
I’m trying to think of any reasonable argument against breaking up this hyper-politicized monopoly. I’ll let you know if I come up with one.
Americans oppose corporations taking public political stances
By Mike Huckabee
Speaking of oppressive “woke” corporations, a new Rasmussen survey found that, by a 3-1 margin, Americans oppose corporations taking public political stances, which might explain why Coca-Cola is backing off its leftist racial activism. (Rasmussen also found that 37% of respondents said they were less likely to buy Coke products, which probably helped them see the light.)

Since fighting back against “woke” corporate activism and punching these companies in the bottom line seems to be working, here’s a great way to help get the message to those CEOs who are still spitting on half their potential customers and selling out their shareholders to virtue-signal.

A group called Consumers Research has created a series of 30-second videos pointing out these companies’ hypocrisy and calling out their CEOs by name. I’m sure you’ll want to share these far and wide.
Happier with less?
By Mike Huckabee
According to the new Schwab Modern Wealth Survey, surviving the pandemic caused Americans to lower the amount of money they thought it would take to be financially comfortable. In 2020, Americans believed it would take an average net worth of $934,000 to be financially comfortable. But in 2021, they said it would take $624,000, a full one-third less.
This is a little confusing, considering current economic realities. People might think they need less money because they tightened their belts during the pandemic, but inflation is now at a 13-year high, and home prices are the highest on record.
Or maybe with President Biden and the Democrats in power, a lot of people have just lowered their expectations in general.
Something funny happened
By Mike Huckabee
Stop The Presses! Major News! Something funny actually happened on a late night comedy show!

Okay, it was accidental. But it was Seth Meyers’ show, so how else was something funny ever going to happen?
In a related story, throughout its debut month of April, Greg Gutfeld’s new late night show on Fox News averaged almost as many viewers as Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel and beat out James Corden, Seth Meyers, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” and even “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. This despite the fact that Fox News on cable reaches few households than all those shows on the major broadcast networks.

Eye-Opening Article
By Mike Huckabee
For those who refuse to see how racist “Critical Race Theory” is, read this account by an Indian Muslim immigrant of how her family and others in their Asian-American community were harangued with dehumanizing racist attacks by a CRT-pushing white liberal school official, who told them they needed to “check their privilege” because it’s unfair that their kids studied hard to get into a school for high achievers that didn’t have enough black and Hispanic students.
“Never let a crisis go to waste”
By Mike Huckabee
Today’s Democrats believe you should “never let a crisis go to waste.” Usually, that means passing a lot of deficit spending and government-expanding legislation. But in the case of New Jersey Democratic Sen. Tom Malinowski, it appears to mean quietly making a killing buying and selling stocks in medical and tech companies involved in the coronavirus response while publicly condemning others who try to profit off the pandemic.
As the A.P. notes in the linked story, there’s no indication that Malinowski engaged in insider trading, but the general scenario just looks like a huge conflict of interest, and his failure to report his trades and profits has resulted in two complaints against him with the Office of Congressional Ethics. Yes, there really is such a thing!
