BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
2024
By Mike Huckabee
Roger L. Simon at the Epoch Times analyzes CPAC and the current state of the Republican Party (solidly behind Trump’s policies), and weighs the question: if Trump doesn’t run again in 2024, who should? His top possibilities based on their resumes, histories with Trump and CPAC appearances are South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in that order.
It’s an interesting read, even if he errs in saying that Ben Carson was the only former Trump rival to escape being blasted by him (reminder: I also ran in 2016 and have always gotten along fine with him -- I think because the so-called “Trump attacks” are usually just return fire to people who attacked him first, a fact the media tend to bury.)
This article requires you to have or open a free account at the Epoch Times, but you really should anyway.
“If It Weren’t For Double Standards…” Dept
By Mike Huckabee
The president of the Berkeley teachers’ union, who has been fighting the reopening of schools, was caught on video dropping his own two-year-old daughter off at an in-person pre-school. By the way, I don't know which pre-school it was, but I'm assuming it's a private school.
His response was to try to turn it around and accuse the people who caught him of invading his child’s privacy, even though they shot the video at a distance and blurred out her face. I suspect he’s more upset that they invaded his hypocrisy.
Just Keep Repeating

“There’s no such thing as voter fraud…There’s no such thing as voter fraud…”
White House Contagion
By Mike Huckabee
Whatever President Biden has (and we’re not allowed to talk about it apparently, no matter how disturbingly obvious it becomes), it appears to be contagious. One of his advisers said something out loud that she wasn't supposed to say but that we all suspected: that COVID-19 was the best thing that ever happened to Joe Biden. After all, he was a two-time crash-and-burn presidential loser until he had the pandemic to blame on Trump. But that’s so heartless, cynical and self-serving that it’s the kind of thought most political aides know you keep to yourself.
Luckily for her and for Biden, the second-best thing that ever happened to him was the rabidly biased, anti-Trump media, which covered up that shocking admission until safely after the election. It came from a new book about the campaign, but for some reason, we’re only hearing it now. Too bad journalism no longer exists, or maybe, like Hunter’s laptop, voters would’ve been informed about it when it might have made a difference.
2021 Golden Globes
By Mike Huckabee
I confess, I didn’t watch the Golden Globe Awards last night. I did hear that there were no political jokes (can’t say anything mean about Joe Biden) but there were endless complaints about how the nominees weren’t diverse enough, which you’d think they had some control over. Also, that Jane Fonda used her lifetime achievement award as a platform to lecture Hollywood about the need for more diversity. I also hear that she, a white lady, accepted the award rather than passing it on to the family of the late Cecily Tyson.
Fountains Of Noxious Nonsense
By Mike Huckabee
Tim Graham at Western Journal reminds Democrats who are trying to get conservative news TV channels deplatformed for “spreading misinformation” that the outlets they rely on for their “knowledge” of current events, like CNN, MSNBC and even the current New York Times, have become veritable fountains of noxious nonsense.
Having spent the past 10 years or so having to dig up facts and accurate quotes and correct their partisan piffle, I can attest that the list in this column is only the tiniest dusting of frost on the very tip-top of the iceberg.
Old Saying
By Mike Huckabee
There’s an old saying that fanatics eventually become the thing that they hate. I think it’s safe to say that the Boston school district is controlled by ultra-liberals who are fanatical in opposing racism because they have now become such fanatics on that point that in the name of “anti-racism” they're openly embracing racism against whites and Asians.
