Colluding with social media to censor opposition political opponents apparently wasn’t enough of an assault on the First Amendment for the Biden Administration. Republican Rep. Jim Jordan released internal emails from Amazon showing that during the pandemic in 2021, the company was pressured to censor books if they questioned vaccine safety or the government’s COVID response. Such books were labeled as “disinformation” or “propaganda.”

Former White House adviser Andrew Slavitt (I just mentioned how the Biden people are shielding him from arrest for defying a House subpoena, so you know he must be a Democrat) wrote ominously to Amazon, “If you search for ‘vaccines’ under books, I see what comes up. I haven’t looked beyond that but if that’s what’s on the surface, it’s concerning.” 

Great, so we now have self-appointed government censors who literally judge books by their covers.

Amazon wanted to know if the White House wanted the books removed from sale or just removed from promotion so they’d be less visible and harder to find. They eventually caved to the latter, with their main concern being that they not “do anything that is visible and will draw more attention.” 

Well, these people all have our attention now.
