The latest group of woke buttinskis to attempt to police our speech come from Biden's Office of the Director of National Intelligence (a dubious title, as you’re about to see.) The agency produced an internal language guide listing a number of terms that employees should not use anymore because they might be offensive. Among them:

“Jihadist” and “Islamic terrorist” because they might be “hurtful” to Muslim Americans. I’d think that what’s hurtful is discovering that the DNI’s office assumes that those terms automatically refer to Muslim Americans.

Others include “blacklisted” (implies that black is bad and white is good), “brownbag” (does that imply that brownbag lunches are bad and eating at White Castle is good?), “grandfathered” (as a grandfather, I don’t know why that term is offensive), and weirdest of all, “cakewalk.” They claim that is “a dance performed by slaves for slave owners on plantation grounds."

Okay, show of hands: How many people ever heard of that archaic definition of a “cakewalk?” Seems to me that if you have to spend two hours researching on Google and Wikipedia to find something to be offended by, your life must be going pretty well.

At the risk of offending berry farmers, I suggest we all blow the raspberry at these idiots.
